Is CGPA The Benchmark For Making It In Life?

\"CGPA\"
CGPA! Yes, Cumulative Grade Point Average is one of the top trends on Twitter from Friday night and has stirred so much controversy on the microblogging site.
A Personal Development Coach and Twitter influencer Dipo Awojide has started the discussion, advising people who are on lower and pass grades to try to work harder to scale up to 3.0.\"\"
While this might be sounding like a motivation and push for the students to do better, the part that got many angry is when he said, “If you have tried all your possible best and nothing changes, don’t worry, you might still make it in life.”

Disagreeing with him like many others, a tweep, Pamilerin wrote, “But make we call spade a spade, Dr Dipo I disagree with this tweet. Might is a strong word to use, if we want to encourage ourselves to do better we should atleast have right choice of words”. What is your take? Do you think CGPA is the benchmark for making it in life too? See some other reactions below:\"\"

School makes you a worker not a thinker. So it depends on your perspective of success.
