Simi Is A Wonderful, Cool-Headed Artiste – Chief Ebenezer Obey Hails Singer

Legendary Nigeria musician, Ebenezer Obey has hailed his junior colleague Simi, describing her as a wonderful, cool-headed and humble artiste who knows what she is doing.

Recall that Simi had, remixed Ebenezer Obey’s Aimasiko back in 2017 in her album Simisola. She then recently had a collaboration with him on the remix of her song for the 14th Headies performance, a nice which brings a blend of the millenia ls and Gen Z.In an interview with Punch Sunday Scoop, Chief Ebenezer Obey stated that he had a good time working with Simi. Saying she and her husband, Adekunle Gold are his children, the respected singer added that she took permission before using his lyrics and melody back in 2017 and the decided to do a version of the song together.

“Simi is my daughter and her husband is my son as well. She is a very talented artiste. She happened to have done (a remix) of one of my songs, Aimasiko, on her own. But, she took permission before doing it and it came out very well. So, we decided to do a version of the song together. She is a wonderful artiste and cool-headed person. She is very humble and knows what she is doing. Working with her was a good experience.
