2023: PDP shortlists Funke Akindele as Lagos Deputy Gov candidate

 

The People’s Democratic Party has shortlisted Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele Bello, as running mate for its Lagos State Governorship candidate, Alhaji Abdulaziz Olajide Adediran.

The movie star was named alongside four others.

They include a former governorship aspirant, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, former Senatorial candidate for Lagos East, Yeye Shobajo, another governorship aspirant, David Kolawole Vaughan and Engr. Teslim Balogun.

This comes after fellow Nollywood star Tonto Dikeh was named Rivers Deputy Governorship candidate.

Dikeh will run alongside Tonte Ibraye under the African Democratic Congress.
