Oyo lawmakers remove Deputy Gov Olaniyan who decamped to APC

The Oyo State House of Assembly on Monday impeached the deputy governor of the state, Mr Rauf Olaniyan from office.

Olaniyan who was elected in 2020 on a joint ticket with the current Governor, Seyi Makinde on the platform of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) recently dumped the party for the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC).
