A young woman named Chinenye Ajunwa was shot and died in Ebem Ohafia, the administrative center of Abia’s Ohafia Local Government Area.
According to reports, on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, during the gunfight between military and local thugs, Chinenye was killed by a stray gunshot.
The deceased, who lived in Ohafia and was reportedly from Amuta in the local government area of Isuikwuto, had a store there. The woman, who was there throughout the gunfight with her father, reportedly passed away before assistance could reach her, according to a report by The Nation.
