Reality TV personality Cross responded to Daniella’s Big Brother Naija season 7 housemate decision to give up drinking due to her romantic interest, Khalid.
There is no limit to what a person will do for love, as the 22-year-old poet who had a thing with his flatmate Khalid has demonstrated. Prior to his eviction, Khalid had issued a warning that if Daniella kept abusing alcohol, he could have to break up with her because his religion forbids it.
Khalid asserts that since he is a Muslim and does not consume alcohol, he is prohibited from dating a lady who does.
It appears that Daniella took attention of the advice, then. The lover girl has given up alcohol and has made it clear to her coworkers that she has done so. She had a few drinks during their first week together in the house.
A few days ago, Amaka and Daniella got into an argument over a bottle of Baileys, and Daniella further emphasized that she doesn’t drink. Internet users and watchers of the reality TV show came to the conclusion that she made the compromise out of love because it was Khalid who cautioned her against drinking.
Cross, a past housemate on Big Brother Naija, responded by accusing Khalid of trying to transform Daniella unfairly on the To Be Honest show.
“She has stopped drinking because of man.. It’s not fair, I hate it when a man tries to tweak a leady. Thunder fire his ancestor”. He said.
However, while Cross was dragged for his comment, Daniella’s decision to quit drinking because of Khalid stirred mixed reactions online.
