The former vice presidential placeholder to Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress, (APC) presidential candidate, Ibrahim Masari, says Rivers State Governor Nyesome Wike will help the former Lagos Governor emerge in 2023.
Masari confirmed to newsmen on Wednesday that Wike met with Tinubu in London.
“The meeting was basically on the 2023 Presidential election and by God’s grace, we are going to work with His Excellency, Governor Nyesom Wike.
“He will assist and we are going to win the election with ease, by the will of God,” Masari said.
This is coming when Tinubu reportedly met with some governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) including Wike in London.
Wike has been at the centre of the crisis bedeviling the PDP ahead of the 2023 general elections after he lost the presidential primaries and was not named as Abubakar Atiku’s running mate.
