Ferdinand hailed Diaz’s attitude, desire and personality following his impressive display against Crystal Palace.
Liverpool drew with Crystal Palace at Anfield after Diaz cancelled out Wilfried Zaha’s opener for Crystal Palace.
Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez was sent off for a head-butt on his home debut.
In a tweet via his Twitter handle, Ferdinand said, “What a player Diaz is… attitude, desire, personality bang on!”
Diaz will hope to continue his impressive display for Liverpool when they face Manchester United in their next game on August 22.
