Burna Boy, an Afrobeats musician, has been praised by Nigerian music and Update director ThankGod Omori Jesam, also known as TG Omori.
Omori, who is also a cinematographer and filmmaker, wrote a brief message about Burna Boy on his Twitter page.
The 27-year-old claims that Burna Boy has influenced him. He added that Burna, also known as the “African giant,” gave him the motivation to be different from other directors.
He noted:
“Burna boy is so so inspiring can’t even lie. Brother literally inspired me to standout from being an everyday Director to possessing so much star power unknowingly”.
Recall how TG Omori became a Twitter trend after admitting he doesn’t take jobs for less than N8 million.
Olamide, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tekno, Kizz Daniel, Fireboy DML, Naira Marley, Timaya, and many other new generation recording artists have had music videos shot by the music director for them.
It’s not surprising that he charges more than N8 million given the number of artists he has worked with.
This was stated by TG Omori in response to a blog post that claimed he charges N8 million to shoot a music Update.
In order to put an end to the report, TG Omori stated that he charged 8 million last year.
