#twitterhacked: See Reactions from Social Media

The hashtag #twitterhacked is trending on Twitter after the accounts f some of the US most prominent political and business leaders were hacked Wednesday afternoon.

The accounts of those hacked in an apparent bitcoin scam include former President Barack Obama, and vice president Joe Biden,  Bill Gates, and Warren Buffett. Others are Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, Kanye West, Uber Technologies Inc., Apple Inc., and Michael Bloomberg.

Even Twitter’s support account was hacked with a message: “I am giving back to my community due to COVID-19. All Bitcoin sent to my address below will be sent back double. If you send $1000, I wil send back $2,0000. Only doing this for the next 30 minutes! Enjoy.”

The message has been tweeted 3,330 times in the past four hours.”

Although Twitter is investigating the act, the hackers have received over 12 Bitcoins, worth more than $110,000.
