US Embassy Denies Denying Bishop Oyedepo Visa

U.S. Mission Nigeria has denied not granting the request of the founder, Faith Tabernacle in Ota, Ogun State and Living Faith Church Worldwide, otherwise known as Winners’ Chapel International, Bishop David Oyedepo for a visa.
The news has been making the rounds after the popular cleric was reportedly not granted the travelling document while ace comedian, Abovi Ugboma, popularly known as Bovi got lucky this time around with the embassy as he was issued the visa but his wife, Kris Asimonye, was unlucky.

Reacting via its Twitter page, the Mission said it is false news.
“#FalseNews Alert! Be advised, the reports making the rounds about a visa being denied to Nigerian Bishop Oyedepo are false. If you have seen this manufactured item in the media, help defeat this #misinformation by communicating to everyone that it is completely false,” it tweeted.
