For the first time in the history of Nigerian Fashion and Lifestyle, the cover and many parts of a famous magazine was shot with a smartphone. Not just any smartphone, but the widely acclaimed photography beast known as the OPPO Reno3.

“The brand decided to take a bold step by partnering with Nigeria’s most popular Magazine, Genevieve, to create the cover and cover story of the August edition using nothing but a smartphone. This move was done in a bid to show that the Reno3 smartphone is #ClearinEveryShot”.

Shot by the OPPO Reno3, the winners of the Reno3 Urban24 Modelling contest i.e. Jumoke Azeez and Emmanuel Somto starred on the cover of Genevieve Magazine, alongside Toke Makinwa, a long-standing Brand Partner of OPPO Nigeria. The Top 20 Finalists of the modelling contest were not left out, as they were all captured in a spread within the Magazine.

For both Jumoke and Somto, starring on the cover of Nigeria’s Most Popular Fashion and Lifestyle Magazine is a big step towards their dreams of becoming top models in Africa and beyond. They have not only received N1,000,000 Naira in Cash and Reno3 Smartphones each, they bagged modelling deals with the brand for future campaigns and also got a head start in their careers with this massive cover feature.

It is interesting to note that the OPPO Reno3 has been the toast of many smartphone photography lovers, especially with the use of the smartphone by the Big Brother Nigeria housemates in this year’s Lockdown Edition.
