NDC To Create Separate Youth Ministry When Elected

Ghana Election 2020: Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has promised to create a separate ministry for the youth when elected on December 7 to come to power.

According to the NDC, the agenda is to get a stand-alone ministry that will solely address challenges peculiar to the youth of Ghana.

Vice Presidential Candidate Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang disclosed this when speaking at a mini rally in Cape Coast on Thursday.

She said “We have a youthful botch, it is a blessing if we put it into the right use. It is a renewed focus on our part, and it will inure to our benefit of the entire country.”

“I have no doubt what the youth can do for this country.” She added.

Professor Naana Jane said the next NDC government under John Dramani Mahama will provide a meaningful for the youth to live a more sustainable job and also, provide vital values for them to contribute actively to the development of the country.

She stated “We intend to be more productive and less dependent, self-reliant than relying on others. We shall safeguard and protect our national assets and resources for the benefits of all Ghanaians and not for a few.”

She then entreated the people of Cape Coast and to Ghana at large, to vote for NDC on Monday December 7.

Professor Naana said “This election is about fighting for the soul of this country. We cannot afford to betray the toil of all of our forefathers and dreams of our future generations.”
