Investigative journalist Kiki Mordi was the no1 trending topic on Twitter yesterday over alleged claims that she stole the idea of the highly acclaimed “Sex for Grades ” documentary from a colleague. A journalist Ruona Meyer had accused her of denying her colleagues their fair share of the money and awards she had won from the story.

Kiki today in a lengthy thread on Twitter addressed the claims that she stole the story and opened up on her involvement in the process of telling the story. She shared that she never knew she would become the reporter and lead investigator of the story when she came on board as she only worked hard at giving her best on the job. She mentioned that it was a secret project and only people who were directly involved in the story knew about it.
