Nigeria Records 1133 Fresh Cases On December 23

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) reported that 1133 new cases of the coronavirus was recorded across the country on 23rd December.

Once again, Lagos State recorded the highest of the day with 397 cases followed by the FCT with 357 cases.

The breakdown of the remaining cases among the other states are as follows;

Kaduna-81 Plateau-63 Katsina-46 Sokoto-32 Oyo-28 Ogun-21 Kano-19 Rivers-18 Osun-13 Edo-12 Niger-12 Bayelsa-11 Borno-11 Bauchi-8 Jigawa-2 Ondo-2

As at now, the total number of confirmed cases is 80,922 while 69,274 patients have been discharged from various isolation centers. The death toll is currently at 1236.
