Two people have reportedly died after they were attacked by a police officer in Benue State.
The incident happened on Christmas day and these two individuals, a male and a female, lost their lives after the policeman fired into the crowd at a music carnival, Ochacho Carnival 2020, in Otukpo town of Benue State.
The incident, according to the Daily Trust, happened at around 11 pm when the show has barely started. The two individuals who have lost their lives as a result of the police officer’s actions were known as Jennifer Robert and the other person whose name is wasn’t known at the time of the report.
The spokesperson of the Police Command in Benue, DSP Catherine Anene has denied this incident.
