Singer Chike has apologized to his fans, the twitter community for his tweet about Igbo’s travelling home for the Christmas holiday. The singer took to his Twitter page to apologize and said his tweet was misunderstood.

The R&B singer had tweeted that Igbos need to stop travelling to the East for the Christmas holidays because the roads are bad and busy. He mentioned that the Christmas tradition was primitive and needed to stop as people need to pick another time to make the trip. The singer mentioned that he put out the tweet after loosing 2 friends to a road accident while returning from the East for the Christmas holiday.
