Wife gets court summons for son’s DNA test |

Latest entertainment gist

Omowunmi, the wife of Ilerioluwa Aloba, Nigeria’s late musician professionally known as Mohbad, has received the court summons for her to carry out a DNA test to confirm the paternity of her son, Liam.

The Eagle Online recalls that a Magistrate’s Court in Ikorodu, Lagos had given the order for substituted service on her.

This followed the inability of court bailiffs to serve the summons on Omowunmi personally.

According to available information on Saturday, the summons was affixed to the gate of the last known address of Omowunmi.

This followed the application filed by the legal team to Joseph Aloba, father to the late singer, which sought an order to serve Omowunmi by posting all the originating processes and other processes in the suit on her last known address.

A statement signed by a member of the legal team to the Aloba family, Monisola Odumosu, confirmed this.

According to the statement, the legal team, led by Emmanuel Oroko, had argued that the sheriff had attempted twice to serve Omowunmi the court process but failed.

Worrying footage emerges of Manchester United in Burnley draw

Latest entertainment gist

Footage capturing moments from the 1-1 draw between Burnley and Manchester United has stirred conversation across social media platforms, garnering significant attention from football enthusiasts.

United appeared poised to secure a crucial victory at Old Trafford when Antony netted a goal in the 79th minute, bolstering their pursuit of European qualification. However, Burnley’s Zeki Amdouni converted a late penalty, denying United the full three points and elevating Burnley’s hopes of avoiding relegation from the Premier League.

During the match, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag faced criticism from sections of the home crowd for his substitutions, particularly for withdrawing Kobbie Mainoo and Rasmus Hojlund.

Hojlund, in particular, struggled to make an impact, receiving minimal service from his teammates throughout the game. Despite this, he managed to receive four passes from goalkeeper Andre Onana, more than any other United outfield player.

Manchester United - BBC Sport

One notable incident occurred in the first half when Hojlund attempted to initiate an attacking move but ended up passing the ball to right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who found himself in a goal-scoring position. Wan-Bissaka, who has not scored for Manchester United in over three years, failed to convert the opportunity, leading to frustration among fans.

Following the match, Ten Hag defended his team’s recent performances, which included squandering a three-goal lead against Coventry in the FA Cup semi-final. However, he acknowledged the team’s inconsistency in controlling games for the full duration.
