Strange Illness Kills Four People In Sokoto 

State Governor Aminu Tambuwal said the state government had begun investigating the cause of the disease in a statement on Wednesday.

Four people in Sokoto have died from a mysterious illness.

The four people in Sokoto State were killed by an odd disease, with 24 others currently seeking medical attention.

State Governor Aminu Tambuwal said the state government had begun investigating the cause of the disease in a statement on Wednesday.

He said there were records of cases of the disease in the Helele group inside the state capital.

“The statement read: “It has come to the Government’s attention that four lives were claimed by the strange sickness, three inside the Helele Group and one while in hospital on admission. Twenty-four more people in various health facilities in Sokoto are currently seeking medical treatment.

In the meantime, the State Government has set up a committee of experts, chaired by the State Commissioners for Health and the Environment, to study and find a cure for the disease and its prevention.

In addition, because of the epidemic, the government has taken responsibility for the treatment of people receiving medical care and needs them to recover safely and return to their families and loved ones.
