“Just three months into the relationship -two nights to her birthday, she went to see Bernard but met him on his way out to see a “family friend” and he asked her to wait for him as he wouldn’t stay long.
She noticed he forgot his phone at home and went through it . The gallery was loaded with  nude pictures from different ladies, inbox with erotic messages and  chats.
 How could Bernard be so lose? She thought he was cool headed. He always condemned his friends for womanising, he preached the word of God and his family were strong members of the church
As though the phone saga wasn’t enough he came back and told her lies not knowing she had sen his chats and knew he went to see a girl. She wasn’t sure she loved him so much already to take such misbehavior but she wasn’t ready to breakup so fast.
She just wanted to keep her man so, she let go. Months grew to years and all she got was lies upon lies. To worsen the case,Bernard’s family suddenly started showing signs of disapproval to the relationship.
There were obvious signs it wasn’t going to work. The relationship had no destination. It wasn’t growing. She spent nights crying but would come out and smile like nothing bad was happening. She was either settling one cheating case, stupid chats, girl around him or trying to force herself into his family. She gave in all she could but got nothing in return. The door was opened for her to walk out but she always slammed it and stayed fixed. On social media, she posted his pictures and made the public believe she had the best man.
Bernard gave her hopes of marrying her and for three years she waited amidst pains for the fulfilment of this promise which crashed after Bernard found another victim
This is what a lot of  ladies are passing through. Because you love a man, you keep shut and take hell inside but out here you tell us he’s your king. What manner of king makes his queen cry every now and again? What king brings in strange women into the kingdom where only one queen should be? What king spends all his free time chatting sex or hanging out with other ladies? What manner of king treats you like a slave? . Now, what degree of madness makes you settle for less? Love? What love ? Where is the love when he can’t stand up for you? What is love when you do the calling and texting? What is love when you don’t know where it is headed?
Two years you’ve been praying for him to change and he hasn’t so what makes you feel he will change in the fifth year? When married women can’t change their husbands how will you “just a girlfriend” change a womanising,lying and confused boyfriend?
There’s no need to give us the picture of a happy relationship when you’re in hell. You can only decieve us, you can’t deceive yourself. Don’t get your mind polluted with pains. This experience is why a lot of ladies say “all men are the same”  why wont men be the same when you let a man trample on you all in the name of being submissive or keeping your man. You shouldnt work hard to impress or keep a man. A man who loves you will love you anyway. Before you join the “single and happy” ladies gang, stop hanging around where you ain’t needed. Being in a relationship isn’t a ……,. But if you have to be in one, be in the type that complements you and not the one you have to ……Know when to stay and when to leave. Breakup kills no one. You only get hurt for a while and when you meet a better person, you become better.
