C P Wakili Muhammad is not dead

The former Kano State Police Commissioner, CP Muhammad Wakili, has denied reports that he was killed in a car accident.

News of his death in a car accident spread on social media on Tuesday night, with people posting images of him, hoping that God would have mercy on him.

Muhammad Wakili, a retired CP, said that he is alive, in good health and calm.

“I have no idea where this tale came from. I have no idea what their motive is. I’m not sure what they want to accomplish with this. People are anxious. Since 11pm, I’ve been called to make sure. “And the truth of the matter,” said Singham, better known as the former police commissioner”.

He added that, after encountering similar stories on social media, he got the news as a result of a call from a senior man, which prompted him to call his phone to make sure it was true.
