Actress Lizzy Gold Explains Why Celebrities Get Kidnapped

Nigerian actress, Elizabeth Onuwaje who is better known as Lizzy Gold has explained why most celebrities get kidnapped.

Her post on Instagram is pertaining to the abduction of two Nigerian thespians.

On Friday, Moji Delano reported the abduction of two Nollywood actors, Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel. According to reports gathered, the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas claimed that the kidnappers are requesting for the sum of $100,000 (approximately N71 million).

Since the abduction of the thespians, Nigerians, including celebrities and citizens alike have reacted to the issue of insecurity infesting the country.

Joining those who are reacting to the news is Lizzy Gold, a leading Nollywood actress.

In her post, she revealed that the information on social media and on the search engine platform, Wikipedia is misleading and it does not depict the reality of celebrities.

Writing on her Instagram, Gold wrote;

“This is one of the reasons actors are been kidnapped ..they think we are so rich …I need to arrest the person behind this lies…

I am working hard to be wealthy but am currently not close to any of that amount mentioned there… I nor get money ooo I be hustler ooo …I Dey even find who go dash me money …pls do not believe anything you read on the internet…”
