Hairdressing students from North Warwickshire & Hinckley College reveal their hair designs inspired by a museum exhibition.
The students studied an exhibition of the work of Nigerian photographer J.D. Okhai Ojeikere which was on loan at Nuneaton Museum from Hayward Gallery, London. The exhibition featured elaborate sculptural forms of African hairstyles.
The students spent a morning at the Museum working with professional Nigerian hairstylist Kemi Obisesan to create braided hairstyles, reflecting those in the exhibition photographs!
