Album Review of “Boy Alone” by Omah Lay A 23 Years Old Nigerian Great Singer ft Justien Bieber (watch) – AREWA JOINT

Fans of Afropop were first drawn to a 23-year-old performer with honey-toned complexion in 2020. He was a member of the active Port Harcourt scene, but that was about all that was known about him.

It was obvious why people appreciated the music despite the fact that it had a lot of enticing qualities, lead by a lovely voice and incredibly ingenious songwriting.

“Bad Influence” and “You” built the myth of Stanley Omah Didia and presented him to an attentive generation of love-deprived individuals during the most sad time in our common history.

It’s a good thing Omah Lay started his breakthrough year with “Get Layd,” a song bursting with catchy musical fusions.

Omah Lay stands out from other students in his class because of his quirks, and it’s even more admirable that he’s eager to share projects. What Have We Done?, his sophomore EP from November of that same year, may not have garnered as much immediate cultural cache as its predecessors, but it confirmed the budding superstar’s special capacity.

There have been whispers about his debut album going around since the end of last year. Its approaching release was heralded as the next stage in Omah Lay’s well-oiled career because he already had two EPs under his belt and had success in the streaming era. The early 2022 single “Attention,” on which he collaborated with Justin Beiber, only served to increase his already exponentially growing international renown and to mark the beginning of a world tour.
