Fast-rising Mavin artiste Ayra Starr has prophetically claimed the success she’s enjoying.

She rebuked every ‘imposter syndrome’ that’s attempting to make her feel underserving of her achievements so far.

Her latest single “Rush” released on September 16 recently displaced Asake’s ‘Joha’ from the number one spot.

On 25th, ‘Rush’ claimed the number one position, pushing Asake’s ‘Joha’ to number two on Apple Music Top 100 Nigeria.

The song is her first release following the publication of her first studio album, 19 and Dangerous, on August 6, 2021.

The Marvin star girl rebuked the ‘imposter sydrome’ while affirming ‘e dey rush’.

She tweeted: “Imposter syndrome is no joke and I rebuke it in the name of Jesus. I have worked so hard to be here, so hard, I refuse to feel like I don’t deserve it! E dey rush!!!!”

Imposter syndrome also called ‘perceived fraudulence’ is the frequent feeling of not deserving one’s success, and of being of a failure despite a sustained record of achievements.

It disproportionately affects high-achieving individuals who find it difficult to accept their accomplishments.
