Bayo Onanuga survives accident, blames Atiku Abubakar’s convoy

Bayo Onanuga, director of media and publicity for the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign, claims that he was nearly killed on Sunday in Abuja by a vehicle travelling in the convoy of the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

According to him, when he followed the convoy to its final destination, he found himself at Atiku’s mansion.

A man who introduced himself as the chief of staff and offered to take care of the damages appeased him, he said.

Onanuga made this revelation in a Facebook post titled, ‘Atiku’s Convoy Nearly Crushed Me To Death.’

He said, “I had a close shave with death on Sunday night in Abuja as I was returning home at about 9 pm after a visit to Senator Tokunbo Afikuyomi. I was driving on the first lane of Shehu Shagari Way when I noticed a convoy emerging from one of the feeder roads. I counted in the centre lane, four vehicles ahead of me.

Nigerian musician Inetimi Alfred Timaya Odon, also known as Timaya, has slammed his social media handler, Bolaji Fadipe, for including him in Davido and Wizkid’s social media fight.

According to reports, tensions between Nigerian music icons Wizkid and Davido have increased, causing a furious social media fight.

It all began on Monday, when Wizkid posted a Update that appeared to be a sly mockery of the 30BG boss.

ASUU declares indefinite strike in Abuja

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), UNIABUJA chapter has begun an indefinite strike to draw attention to developments bordering the union.

According to Leadership, the union announced its decision to embark on the strike on Thursday at the end of its congress, held at the Permanent Site of the institution.

The Chairman of the branch, Dr. Sylvanus Ugoh, in an interview said that the union had resolved to embark on a total and an indefinite strike with immediate effect.
