Please unfollow me now, Tonto Dikeh demands as Sam Larry follows her on social media.

Popular Nollywood actress turned politician, Tonto Dikeh has responded to an unexpected social media move by embattled show promoter and associate of Naira Marley, Sam Larry.

This development comes amidst a growing crisis surrounding Sam Larry’s alleged involvement in the unfortunate death of Afrobeat star Mohbad, whose passing has sparked widespread outrage and demands for justice.

Sam Larry, who has reportedly fled Nigeria, has been implicated in the controversy following the emergence of viral Update and audio recordings that appear to implicate him in vicious assaults allegedly perpetrated against Mohbad.

In one particularly troubling Update, Sam Larry is seen with unidentified individuals storming a studio where Mohbad and fellow singer Zlatan Ibile were working, allegedly with intentions to harm them.

In response to Sam Larry’s unexpected follow on her Instagram account, Tonto Dikeh expressed her outrage and disdain.

She took to her Instagram to voice her sentiments, directing harsh words and curses towards Sam Larry for daring to engage with her on social media amid the ongoing crisis engulfing his life.

"It's the audacity that I don't get" -- Tonto Dikeh to Sam Larry

In her Instagram post, Tonto Dikeh declared that justice would prevail, and no matter where Sam Larry is currently hiding, the law enforcement agencies would eventually apprehend him for his alleged role in making Mohbad’s life a living nightmare.

Tonto Dikeh wrote,

“It’s the audacity that Sam Larry started following me. Like I get ‘keep thy enemy close.’ Now listen up, WE WILL GET YOU.

“Whether you run from Kenya to Kafanchan or hide in obscurity, you will be brought to justice. We are not a lawless country like you and yours think.”

The actress went on to express her disappointment, reminding Sam Larry that his actions had not only hurt Mohbad and his family but had also affected the entire nation.

She urged Sam Larry to reflect on his life and reconsider his choices.

Addressing Sam Larry’s claim of affection for Mohbad, Tonto Dikeh challenged him to participate in the ongoing candlelight vigil for the deceased singer.

She criticized Sam Larry for allegedly bullying a 27-year-old artist and accused him of cowardice.

Tonto Dikeh concluded her message by demanding that Sam Larry unfollow her immediately, while also warning him that he would face the consequences of his actions.

She stated that she was undaunted by his trolling and reassured him that he would not find peace.

I had no rift with governor Soludo – Onojeme

Latest entertainment gist

By Ovat Abeng

Former Anambra State Commissioner for Finance, Mr Ifeatu Onejeme, has debunked viral reports that he resigned his post because of a disagreement with Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo.

Governor Soludo had formally received Mr Onejeme‘s resignation letter on Thursday, September 14, 2023 with lofty remarks and robust commendation for the Commissioner’s contributions to his administration.

However, despite the cordial disengagement, reports had it that the ex-Commissioner had discords with the Anambra State Governor, hence his resignation.

Clearing the air over the insinuations, Mr Onejeme revealed that when he was first appointed by former Governor Willie Obiano, he had planned to stay for only two years but ended up serving the state for the entire eight years of the Obiano administration.

When Governor Soludo was massively elected to succeed Obiano, Mr Onejeme knew he had to make more sacrifices by staying on, in his words, “to help the administration which I know would transform Anambra State to settle in, and this was what I said at the Executive Council valedictory speech.”

According to Onejeme, “I worked to help many of my colleagues and counterparts to settle in because I know what the higher calling is. And when it was done, I felt this was the right time to rejoin my family, and they have been exceedingly happy since the announcement was made. After nine and half years, I think I have contributed my quota.”

Dismissing the viral reports Onejeme said: “I have no fallout with our Governor who is a visionary and transformational leader. In fact, he is a man I have tremendous respect for, who is a mentor to me.

“I had a good relationship with the Governor, a very good relationship, a professional relationship. We also had a very good personal relationship. So what people are writing in the media is wrong. I’m even shocked to read these things.”

Onejeme stressed that he would forever remain a worthy Ambassador of the Governor Soludo administration.

“I am an Ambassador, a very passionate and committed Ambassador of this administration. I believe so much in the Solution Agenda, and so people shouldn’t make that mistake to just misinform and sell falsehood everywhere.”

“Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, our Governor, shoots straight. He tells you this is what he’s going to do, and he comes out to do it, and they don’t like it. They like it when you say you are going left, meanwhile you are going right.”
