The Presidency has announced the passing on of the Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari. The deceased had earlier tested positive to the dreaded COVID-19, and had been hospitalized. He however passed on Friday, April 17, 2020.
Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity confirmed this Via a tweet
He tweeted, “Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari, passes on. May God rest his soul. Amen. Funeral arrangements to be announced soon”.
