One Person Dead After Church Building At Akyem Collapses, Trapping 65 Members | VIDEO

One person has been reported dead after a church building at Akyem Batabi collapsed, trapping about 65 members.

This is true per a reported sighted on Graphic.com.gh, which indicates that the sad incident happened today, 20th October 2020.

Samuel Kyei-Boateng who reports for the news portal revealed that about 65 people were in the church building when it collapsed.

According to Kyei-Boateng, the voices of some of the people who are trapped inside could be heard with some screaming for help.

Apart from the one dead person whose body has been retrieved, four worshippers have been rescued. As at the time of the report, a bulldozer was on the site of the collapse trying to move the wreckage to rescue more of the people alive.
