Popular Emir of Dutse, Sanusi Is Dead

Lifestyle Nigeria gathered that the Emir of Dutse in Jigawa State, Dr Nuhu Muhammad Sanusi died on Tuesday at the age of 78.

This was confirmed in a statement signed by the state governor’s Senior Special Assistant, New Media, Auwalu Sankara.

He said the emir died in an Abuja hospital after a protracted illness.

In a statement, the Jigawa State governor, Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar expressed his condolences to the family and entire people of the state.

He described the late Emir as a true leader and a respected figure in the community, known for his wisdom, compassion, and dedication to the well-being of his people.

He also recognized the Emir’s contributions to the growth and development of Dutse and the positive impact he had on the community.

Navy Arrests Over 14 Crude Oil Vessels In Four Months – Official

Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State said the state government will continue to support the Nigerian Navy to achieve its mandate of fighting criminalities in the waterways, and oil theft.

Governor Fubara said this in a meeting with the Chief of Naval Staff, Emmanuel Ogalla, and other top naval officers at the Government House in Port Harcourt, the state capital, on Thursday.

This is contained in a statement sent to PREMIUM TIMES by Nelson Chukwudi, the chief press secretary to Governor Fubara.

The governor told the visiting delegation that the country was facing myriads of challenges, including insecurity and criminal activities that threaten the national economy, which should not be overlooked.

The success of the Nigerian Navy in our State, in the areas of oil theft, is because the State Government has given you all the necessary support.

“We have also maintained good relationships with the communities to make sure that whatever it is that is required for these operations to be successful were granted. I am happy to be associated with these very laudable achievements.”

“So, I have to say that I am happy that the Chief of Naval Staff, today, is commending the success of the exercise. He is commending the doggedness of the men in fighting oil theft, not just in the Niger Delta, but particularly in our State.

GWR: Nigerian Woman Breaks Record With 55-Hour Marathon Interview

 

365NES gathered that A Nigerian social media entrepreneur, Clara Kronborg, has broken the Guinness World Record for the longest interviewing.

Kronborg, who grew up in Onitsha, a metropolitan city in Anambra State, shattered the record with an average time of 55 hours and 24 seconds, beating the previous record holder, Rob Oliver from the United States, who did 37 hours and 44 minutes in 2022.

She hosted a talk show on YouTube titled “Women’s World Show,” on which she interviewed 90 people of various nationalities and occupations, including politicians, business owners, content creators, actors, real estate agents, and many others.

The conversations centred on how each guest succeeded in their respective field.

Speaking with Guinness World Records on what inspired her to embark on the journey, the Nigerian-born host said, “This record attempt was about bringing together diverse individuals, sharing their inspiring narratives, and forging meaningful connections on a global scale.

“I am committed to amplifying voices, particularly those of hardworking women, and using their stories to inspire others facing similar challenges.”
