Chelsea face another Reece James problem

One week, another crisis it will seem for West-London side, Chelsea as Reece James has been charged by the Football Association following the premier league clash versus Aston Villa last weekend.

The premier league tie which saw Reece James absented from the match squad due to an injury, saw the England international react to the refereeing decision that saw Chelsea player, Malo Gusto red carded for a poor tackle on Lucas Digne.

The Chelsea captain according to the FA is being charged for “improper, insulting or abusive” behavior towards a match official in the defeat at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues’ Right-back and captain has until Friday, September 29 to respond to the charges by the FA before disciplinary actions will be implemented.

Recently, Liverpool captain, Virgil van Dijk faced similar charges after being sent off in the premier league match versus Newcastle United, with the FA charging the Dutchman for abusive behavior towards the referee for the decision that saw his team reduced to 10-men in the first half.

Virgil van Dijk was fined, with the player having to seat back for an extra game on suspension.

Timaya slams aide for unauthorized post – Lifestyle Nigeria

Nigerian musician Inetimi Alfred Timaya Odon, also known as Timaya, has slammed his social media handler, Bolaji Fadipe, for including him in Davido and Wizkid’s social media fight.

Timaya expressed his displeasure, claiming that despite repeated warnings, Bolaji reportedly continued in involving him in extraneous affairs.

He wrote: “BOLAJI FADIPE U ARE A MAD MAN FOR TWEETING WITH MY HANDLE. I have warned u severally but u wouldn’t listen. Y’all know I mind my business but this guy doesn’t listen because u work with my team and have access doesn’t mean u should put me on people’s business. I want u to enjoy the fame u want to hide behind. Fool”

According to reports, tensions between Nigerian music icons Wizkid and Davido have increased, causing a furious social media fight.

It all began on Monday, when Wizkid posted a Update that appeared to be a sly mockery of the 30BG boss.

ASUU declares indefinite strike in Abuja

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), UNIABUJA chapter has begun an indefinite strike to draw attention to developments bordering the union.

According to Leadership, the union announced its decision to embark on the strike on Thursday at the end of its congress, held at the Permanent Site of the institution.

The Chairman of the branch, Dr. Sylvanus Ugoh, in an interview said that the union had resolved to embark on a total and an indefinite strike with immediate effect.
