Comedian Apkororo Laments Bitterly Over The Cancellation Of His Show

In a post via his Instagram page, the comedian shared a video where he called on the governor to consider people in the entertainment circle when making such decision since it has affected people in the industry.

He stated that he has invested a lot of resources into his upcoming concert which has been cancelled due to the lockdown.

Nigerian pastor Femi Lazarus has shared his thoughts on the behaviour of social media trolls.

During a sermon at his church, the lead pastor of Sphere of Light Church said individuals who drag others online are not from good homes.

To illustrate his point, he mentioned a specific incident where a troll referred to Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, as a ‘fool’ despite his age and position.

According to Pastor Lazarus, such disrespectful remarks indicate a lack of good upbringing and values instilled from home.

Family speaks on conflicting burial plans |

The family of JohnPaul Odonwodo, aka Junior Pope, has reacted to the conflicting burial plans in the public space.

It thus advised the public to rely solely on information from the Central Planning Committee for the burial of the Nollywood great.

The elder brother to Junior Pope, Ivor Odonwodo, said this in a statement in Enugu.

While noting that the family was heartbroken by his death, Odonwodo said they were finding consolation in the life of impact he lived.

He said: “His life was characterized by love of God, love of family, love of community and being a beacon of positive energy to all who had come across him.”

According to him, what the family owes him at the point is to bid him a befitting farewell, hence the setting up of the burial committee.

Odonwodo added: “We enjoin the public to rely solely on information put out by the committee on the funeral rites.

I want to make a general appeal, let us pray to the Almighty God to accept the soul of Junior Pope and cut out all the nonsense we have been putting out in the social media.
