This comes after a number of boxing pundits and professionals, including former WBO cruiserweight champion Johnny Nelson, suggested Joshua could retire from the sport following his weekend loss.

However, both the 32-year-old British-Nigerian boxer and his promoter, Eddie Hearn, have stated that an early retirement is not an option.

“I asked Eddie if it was possible to get out in November because momentum is important in boxing.” “Eddie said December,” Joshua pointed out.

“If it comes down to who I fight, it’s come one, come all.” I don’t mind if whoever wants it gets it.”

Hearn told newsmen that Joshua still has a lot of great fights ahead of him.

“There was talk about him retiring in the build-up,” Hearn said.

“Why would you consider retirement after losing a split decision to the pound-for-pound number one?”

“It’s all about the passion.” It all depends on whether you still want it. His post-fight interview demonstrated how badly he desired it.”

Hearn then mentioned former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder and longtime rival Dillian Whyte as potential opponents.

“I’d like to see him come out again.” “Perhaps even late December,” Hearn added. “There will be massive fights for him.” Deontay Wilder, Dillian Whyte

“He has so many fights at the top” (10). There are even some British fighters for him who are coming through in a couple of fights.

“We’ll just have to wait and see what he wants to do.” It’ll be a difficult defeat to accept, but he’ll be back.”
