Super Eagles and Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface received his Golden Boot award after finishing joint top scorer for last season’s Europa League.

Boniface scored six goals for Belgian club Union SG who reached the quarter-finals before losing to his current side Leverkusen, last season

He shared the award with Manchester United and England forward Marcus Rashford.

Prior to Leverkusen’s Europa League fixture against Qarabag on Thursday night, Boniface was presented with the award.

Boniface scored and and provided an assist as Leverkusen thrashed Qarabag 5-1 to record their third win in three games in the group.

It was his second goal in the Europa League and also his 10th in all competitions this season.

The West Africa Broadcast and Media Academy (WABMA) has mourned the death of its executive director and ace broadcaster, Nkemjika Attoh.

Jika Attoh died on Wednesday, Oct. 25, in a hospital in Enugu, the capital of Enugu State.

A statement signed by WABMA Registrar, Joseph Obari, described the death of Attoh as a colossal loss.

The statement quoted the Chairman of the academy, Kevin Ejiofor, as saying: “This is a huge loss to us at WABMA where Jika spent the last years of his life deepening media professionalism.

“It is a loss we share with the entire media landscape in Nigeria where this news has sent shockwaves. Our prayers accompany our dear friend and colleague as he journeys on to the great beyond.”

It added: “Attoh’s failing health in the past one year did not deter him from pursuing his passion of enhancing development journalism in Nigeria until the very last weeks of his life.

“He was the firebrand professional anchor of Africa Independent Television’s flagship breakfast, KAAKAKI and news anchor at Channels Television, Lagos.

“Attoh later became a journalism trainer for the BBC World Service Trust (BBC Media Action) and a consultant media trainer for Enable in Nigeria.

“His media leadership included his roles as the managing director of Enugu State Broadcasting Service, ESBS; broadcast manager and trainer at Lagoni Media, member of board of directors of West Africa Democracy Radio, Dakar, Senegal and the genius behind the establishment of BLAZE FM, Awka and COSMOS FM, Enugu”.

Friends, colleagues, and fans have taken to various platforms to mourn him.

Crossdresser Idris Okuneye aka Bobrisky has slammed Samklef hard over Davido.

The crossdresser took to his Instagram page on Friday to expose the music producer.

In one of his posts about Samklef, he stated that the music producer failed as a musician, failed as a blogger and an interviewer.

He said Samklef is angry because Davido blocked him and he is paying him dust. His post read, “Samklef failed career leave Davido alone!! You failed as a musician, you also failed as a blogger, as if that wasn’t enough you are clout chasing with Davido’s name.

“David is not the cause of ur failed life. You claimed he owed people money right? Why are you dragging him after he block you? You should have dragged him for owing people before he blocked ur lowlife.

“David shouldn’t respond to you cos that might send you to an early grave. You are pained he block you. Leave him alone expired glory. No be everybody blogging fit o!! Because Tunde is making it doesn’t mean you will werey. See his round head like rotten garden egg. Mtchewwwwww, if I bring back the old bob you will sign out of ur IG page nonsense.”

In another post, he shared the DMs between them. In the screenshot, Samklef requested for Bobrisky’s Whatsapp number. Bobrisky said he stopped replying to his DMs because he is too broke and he requests for discounts in all his promotions.

He continued, “You wonder why I stopped responding to ur dm? Cos you are broke, always asking me to give him discount yet Baba won’t pay. He likes free services.

“Wait o at some point in ur life you were interviewing people on ur page you still failed in that one. Only you? You need help. I’m still ur guy sha!! But stop coming for David. Rest bros.”
