Garba Shehu Gives Update On Burglar Who Tried To Break Into A House Close To Aso Villa

Garba Shehu has shared an update on the burglar who attempted to break into a house close to the Presidential villa in Aso Rock.

Taking to Twitter, the Presidential Spokesperson says the police is making wild efforts to nab the suspected burglar who tried to break into the home of one Maikano Abdullahi who resides on the same street with Chief of Staff of President Buhari, Prof Ibrahim Gambari on Monday, May 10.

The police, in a related development is searching for a suspected burglar who unsuccessfully attempted to break into the house of Maikano Abdullahi on Thursday, last week. Maikano lives on the same street with the Chief of Staff, close to the Villa.

On Monday, May 10, around 8pm, Garba announced that the Chief of Staff asserted that there was an attack to burgle his residence. He described the attack as a “foolish attempt” by the suspected persons.

According to the report, these burglars carted away with some valuables and cash from the heavily guarded homes of the top government officials.

However, the reports were refuted by the Presidency just as the Presidential spokesperson announced.

“The Chief of Staff, Professor Ibrahim Gambari, has confirmed that there “was a foolish attempt” to burgle his residence at 3:00am this morning but it turned out to be unsuccessful.
