LAGOS – After a long wait, gospel artiste and leadership coach, Bamike Adeyemi popularly known as OBA, re-emerges into the music space like a bolt out of the blue.

She is stepping into this space with a laudable project, which is part of her Reemergence concert #OBAat50, called ‘50/10/50activate’.Fifty young minds will be trained for ten weeks as a give back in celebrating God’s faithfulness for her 50th year golden jubilee.

‘50/10/50 activate’ is her give back project to activate and equip fifty young creative minds who are passionate about serving God and fueling humanity with their unique and authentic creative brilliance.

These fifty participants will undergo a ten week intensive training (mentoring program) starting from October and will run into December. These participants who would have undergone different training from guitar playing, songwriting, poetry/eulogy mastery will be showcased to the world as part of her 50th golden jubilee celebration Concert and album launch.

OBA, who refers to herself as a multi-influential expressionist, is a professional musician, certified leadership coach, speaker, and trainer with the world foremost leadership group, The John Maxwell Team, Author, music coach and inspirational teacher.

Her debut into the music space was 20years ago with her sophomore, Simply Divine followed by ‘Akoda’. In 2020, Oba collaborated with Nathaniel Bassey and Chandler Moore for the hit gospel song ‘Olorun Agbaye’. She is gearing up to release her third album later in the year.

Oba is the Founder and lead Coach at the Bamike OBA Mentoring Academy, a global music education and transformational leadership hub to empower the next generation of creative artistes with tools that position them for impact and relevance.

The ‘50/10/50 activate’ is a free training that is aimed at activating the genius of these young people and equipping them to stand in their unique authentic creativity. OBA will be joined by other renowned experts within the music space and leadership experts to pour into the next level leaders in the coming weeks.

According to OBA, this project is the core of her 50th birthday celebration, the opportunity to transfer, release and empower others for greatness and impact.
