“I Am Heartbroken” – Beyonce Reacts To Ongoing Crisis In Nigeria, Promises To Help

The never ending killings and riots going on in Nigeria is causing a total uproar on social media. This has forced a lot of celebrities both local and international to add their voice to the ongoing crisis.

The likes of Nana Aba Anamoah, Lydia Forson, Yvonne Nelson, Sonnie Badu amongst others have all joined forces with Nigerians to fight against the ongoing police brutality.

Adding her voice is International super star, Beyoncè. Taking to her Instagram page, Beyonce revealed how heartbroken she is about the whole situation calling it an act of senselessness with the Nigerian police force.

According to Beyoncè, she is working hand in hand with some youth organizations to support the protestors who are being killed for fighting for their rights.

She wrote; ” I am heartbroken to see senseless brutality taking place in Nigeria. There has to be an end to SARS. We have been working on Partnerships with youth organizations to support those protesting for change. We are collaborating with coalitions to provide emergency healthcare, food and shelter.
