‘I am the president of all frustrated Nigerians’ Charly Boy – Lifestyle Nigeria

Latest entertainment gist

Veteran singer and media personality, Charles Oputa, better known as Charly Boy has declared himself the president of frustrated Nigerians.

Charly Boy made the declaration during his appearance on Classic FM programme, ‘The Discourse with Dr. Ken. He voiced out his displeasure about the current state of the country.

He said

“I am the president of all frustrated Nigerians, na me. My frustration level is very high because I’ve had my own portion of suffering. I’m sure the reason my p**is doesn’t rise is because of the situation of this country”.

Charly Boy urged Nigerians to take responsibility for their mistakes and warned against solely blaming the political elites, whom he referred to as the “ruiners of Nigeria.”

“In this Nigeria, our ‘ruiners of Nigeria’ I don’t want to call them leaders, contribute to our current problems but our people don’t want to hear the truth. The truth is it is high time we stopped blaming these people. If we had taken the right kind of action this wouldn’t have happened”.

He sincerely expressed regret for the mistakes made by his generation in the past, acknowledging that nothing was done to address the problems that are now being faced, which originated many years ago.

“I want to take this opportunity to apologize on behalf of people in my generation because a majority of us were missing in action. We had seen the issues coming right from the military regime, no be today. And most of us, the time that we should have done something, we didn’t now look as criminals have taken over our space and to get them out is a problem.”

The family of JohnPaul Odonwodo, also known as Junior Pope, has encouraged the public to depend only on the Central Planning Committee’s (CPC) information for his funeral.

WE DON’T HAVE TO EXPOSE OUR PRIVATE LIVES ON FACEBOOK…ALL THE TIME!

Love Eshiet writes…

(Caveat: This post may not resonate well with some of us, but please do a deep introspection and see how you can adjust)

While it is a personal stuff, I am beginning to worry about how some of us practically live our lives on social media. Some of us don’t have privacy any longer. You upload pictures of what you do at home, even in your bedroom (with your wife, husband, boyfriend, girlfriend and even manfriend), what you do on you way to work, at work, on your way back and so on.

If you are traveling, the whole world must know. If you want to buy something or you have bought it, the whole world must hear about it. You must take pictures everywhere you go. We hardly worry about the security implications of all these.

Your facebook friends can tell of your routine. Yet, they have never met you in person. They have idea of how your bedroom looks like. They know the car you drive, they know where your house is and even know the
 places you have visited!

I told a lady yesterday that it is easy for someone to know if you are into ‘aristo’ (a socially acceptable word for campus prostitution). She asked why. And I explained:

Most young ladies like taking photographs everywhere to upload on social media. I said if someone notices that you have pictures taken inside different cars and hotel rooms (most ladies do this and they don’t even know the message such photos send out about them) and most discerning observers know hotel rooms from a bedroom, he or she will easily conclude you don’t take such pictures during evangelism!
