I Didn’t Abandon Them – Blue-Eyed Woman’s Husband Reacts

Mr Wasiu Dada, the husband of the blue-eyed Risikatu Abdulazeez has surfaced, denying the allegation laid against him of abandoning his wife and two kids who are also blue-eyed like their mother.
New and cute snaps of the trio surfaced on social media and their story went viral. The photographer whose team worked on the story had thereafter taken to his Instastory to solicit for help for the single mom in order to start a pharmaceutical business in her community. $\"I$
In a detailed and exclusive chat with The Punch, however, the husband identified as Wasiu Dada claimed that he never abandoned his family because of the eyes but because his estranged wife was not contended and promiscuous. He noted that he had fallen in love with her eyes and love that their kids have the same eyes, the absence of which would have been painful to him.
His claims were however countered by his mother-in-law in the same documentary, who narrated how he stopped taking care of her daughter and how the mother of two had returned to their (her parents’) home after the birth of her first child. $\"I$
She added further that Wasiu and his family members came later to appeal and they agreed to let Risikatu go back to him and he changed to his bad ways again when she got pregnant with their second and twin babies. The mother-in-law and her daughter claimed his family members complained about the children’s eye colour, which is why he stopped coming home and providing for his family.

Wasiu Dada, however, denied it, swearing by the Qu’ran that his family members never said a thing of such. He added that the family of his wife only wanted to tarnish his image and the allegation of not providing food and shelter is their tactics which has gotten them to display his children on social media, begging for alms.
