Review that Brown was as of late highlighted on the remix of Lojay’s famous tune, Monalisa.

Afro-combination vocalist, Lekan Osifeso, also known as Lojay, says it feels strange working with American artist, Chris Brown, who he grew up watching on television.

Review that Brown was as of late highlighted on the remix of Lojay’s famous tune, Monalisa.

In a meeting with Sunday Scoop, he said, “Having Chris Brown on my song is such a surreal experience because he is someone I grew up watching on TV. He is an inspiration to me. It makes me feel I am definitely in the right direction for him to actually like the song enough to want to be featured on it.”

The artist additionally expressed that when he was creating the melody, he didn’t envision that Chris Brown would some time or another be on the remix. He said, “At the time I was creating the song, I never imagined hearing a Chris Brown verse on it. The best part is that he actually took his time and ‘killed’ it. He gave the song a different feel. He is someone I have always wanted to work with. This is a really good feeling.”

On the effect he sees the remixed tune making, Lojay said, “It is doing amazing things in the world. Chris Brown being on the remix will take it to places I can only imagine. There are many people all over the world that have not heard me yet but because of this remix, they would be able to hear me. I believe it is going be huge. Also, my fans should SEE out for more music from me. I am all about good music that they can count on.”

“They are damaging English football” — Pochettino

Latest entertainment gist

Chelsea’s manager, Mauricio Pochettino, expressed vehement criticism towards the Update Assistant Referee (VAR) system following Chelsea’s 2-2 draw against Aston Villa on Saturday.

The Blues found themselves trailing by two goals in the first half but managed to stage a comeback, leveling the score in the second half.

Axel Disasi believed he had secured the winning goal with a header, only for VAR to intervene and disallow the goal. This decision ultimately left Chelsea settling for a draw. With this result, Chelsea currently sits in 9th place in the Premier League standings with 48 points.

In a post-match statement, Pochettino stated,

“Two different things: the referee said it was a foul and disallowed the goal and then went to the VAR to confirm. The referee is unbelievable and it’s ridiculous. It is difficult to accept these types of things.”

He went on to reference previous contentious VAR decisions, including one in the FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City, which further fueled his frustration.
