Huddah Monroe, a Kenyan socialite, has stated that she wishes she had listened to her mother’s and aunts’ advice to never date guys from West Africa, especially Nigerian males.
The Big Brother Africa contestant made this statement on Instagram in response to the Kenyan President William Ruto’s admission that it was tough for him to marry a Nigerian guy for his daughter.
As soon as our boobs started showing in Kenya, every parent cautioned their daughters about West African guys. We received no word, she said.
My mother and aunts warned me not to date guys from West Africa, especially those from the Congo and Nigeria, when I was a teenager.
