Chief Kester Ogualili, a former aide to Senator Kashim Shettima while he was Governor of Borno State, has died.

According to Daily Trust, Ogualili died at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital after a protracted illness.

The deceased, who hailed from Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra, lived most of his life in Borno.

The Performing Music Employers Association of Nigeria, FCT Chapter has hailed Diana Paul Mary who recently attempted to break the 150 hours singing marathon Guinness World Record as a brave, courageous and talented young lady that should be an  inspiration to other young Nigerian women in their diverse spheres of endeavour.

To underscore her bravery and quest for excellence, PMAN on Thursday in Abuja presented her with a certificate of recognition for her excellent performance.

It declared her as the first and the longest singing single artiste in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The association made this known at a press conference in Abuja on Thursday in honour of Diana.

Diana, a song writer and girl-child advocate, made the courageous attempt at a one-of-a-kind event that was held at the Blake Resort, Garki, Abuja, but later stopped after 107 hours, on health grounds.

The current record in the singing marathon was set by an Indian, Sunil Waghmare, between March 3 and 7, 2012.

Diana, a Nigerian from Cross River State, who is resident in the FCT, Abuja, had explained that she was not only attempting to set a new record, but also to use the platform as an opportunity to challenge the youth in Nigeria not to give up on their dreams.

Award-winning singer and second half of famous music duo Psquare, Paul Okoye also known as Rudeboy has revealed the only problem Nigerians have.

Taking to his Instagram story, Paul who has always voiced his opinion stated that Nigerians’ problem isn’t about hunger, fuel, bad economy or cost of living. Rather, it is about competition, who has the most.

In another post, Paul mentioned that not all interactions are competitive, highlighting how wealthy individuals often debate and discuss issues related to poverty.

“Naija no get problem. Hunger, fuel, and economy, cost of living etc is not their problem. Their problem na competition. Who get pass. No wahala. As February no March, April of May.

“No be everything be competition!!! Imagine the rich discussing and arguing about the poør as per who poor pass. Who dey drink Garri without sugar and who dey drink akamu without milk”.
