Mavins Record Musician Rema Receives A Plague After Passing 200 Million Audiomack Streams (watch) – Lifestyle Nigeria

Rema, a Mavin Records musician, has received bad press for hitting 200 million streams on Audiomack, one of the top streaming services.

The Nigerian musician was given the disease by Audiomack’s vice president of marketing and brand strategy, Jason Johnson, in New York during one of his sold-out Rave and Roses concerts.

Jason Johnson, who delivered the gift, also commended Rema’s development and said Audiomack is honored to share in the celebration with him.

Rema, a recording artist for Mavin, poses with his Audiomack trophy.

“Rema has shown that with hard work, intentionality, and determination it is possible to achieve great feats. Since his introduction to the industry in 2019, he has continuously grown and shown the fans many layers to his creativity. We are proud to be able to celebrate this milestone with Rema and we hope to celebrate more milestones in the future.”

Since entering the music industry in 2019, Rema has had a number of hit songs, including “Bad Commando,” “Dumebi,” “Lady,” “Ginger Me,” “Woman,” and most recently, “Calm Down.” Additionally, his songs “Ginger Me,” “Calm Down,” and “Woman” have amassed over 65 million streams on Audiomack, demonstrating how popular they are with listeners.

Rema now joins a group of Nigerian musicians who have streamed music more than 200 million times on Audiomack, which counts 5 million monthly users in Nigeria.
