Prominent Nigerian singer, Chop Boii, and three other persons, including his producer, have been killed in Gwarimpa area of Abuja.
The spokesperson of the Federal Capital Territory Police Command, DSP Josephine Adeh, confirmed the development.
According to available information, the singer, popularly known as Sempe, was in the house of his producer when the gunmen struck.
The gunmen were said to have killed Boii, his producer, his girlfriend and another friend.
After killing them, the attackers reportedly cut of their fingers, using it to write on the wall of the house.
Adeh said investigation had already commenced.
She said: “We are investigating the matter.”
