A former military president of Nigeria, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida has indicated that Nigeria can deal with the security threats it is facing currently.
He made this known in a recent interview where he stated that Nigeria can overcome its security issues if those in the position of authority plan appropriately.
According to him, quashing all threats posed by kidnappers, bandits, and terrorists really require a lot of planning.
In his view, this is not a short-term plan urging that those in authority can act accordingly in bringing peace.
He added that he been briefed on how the security agencies are working together to develop new strategies on how to deal with the current situation.
He disclosed that he is concerned about the situation in the country as he urged the government and the citizenry to join forces to overcome the problem.
