Rapper DMX In Vegetative State After Drug Overdose Sparked A Heart Attack

Rapper DMX remains in grave condition in hospital after a drug overdose triggered a heart attack, according to reports.

The musician, 50, has remained in the critical care unit in hospital in White Plains, New York.

 It’s said he overdosed at his home at around 11pm on Friday, according to reports.  The overdose was said to have triggered a heart attack.

Sources claimed the star now is in a “vegetative state”. Many fans have flooded social media with their well wishes for the star.

“Pray for DMX! We can’t afford to lose another legend. Another trial I hope he overcomes,” one wrote.

“DMX better pull through this.”

“Whew I pray DMX pulls through cause I ain’t gone lie ima cry.” (sic)

DMX has battled with his demons over the years and checked into rehab in the past.

In 2020, the rapper checked himself into rehab during his 20th anniversary tour and announced it on Instagram .

The statement read at the time: “In his ongoing commitment to putting family and sobriety first, DMX has checked himself into a rehab facility. He apologises for his cancelled shows and thanks his fans for their continued support.”
