Sean Tizzle\’s \’\’Where You Being\’\’ Is A Cloudy But Average Body Of Work

Music Review: Sean Tizzle\’s \’\’Where You Being\’\’ Is A Cloudy But Average Body Of Work

\"\"
Talent Afrobeat singer Sean Tizzle is back and better as he drops his latest EP titled Where You Been. The singer who has been off the music scene shares his work in the studio with us so far and hopeful we get an insight into where he has been all this while, (wink).
\"seanThe thing about Tizzle is that he is always subtle and looks collected when you listen to his songs. In Know Me you will really want to know the singer as he talks about his love interest. He never falls our hand when it comes to talking and hyping the ladies and their body parts. His signature inclusion of the Yoruba language is never found missing in his song and he reinforces this on this track. When we hear his songs there is this relativeness about his songs that create a playful yet jive tune for you to bounce to. We can say yes we know you Sean Tizzle, (lol).

He goes further to give us an insight into the state of his heart at the moment as he is heartbroken on the track For Me. One has to comment that Tizzle is good, his unique style and the way his beats always seamlessly blend with his lyrics.
Yes, they might be the usual theme centered around the ladies, love, sex, and ladies’ body part, but his ability to sing that common phase in a unique way is worth commending. He says, Oh I can cry you a river, baby so fun mi shoda, Even when i dey try dey happy, na you dey make me sobber, Oh yeh, shebi say you go dey there for me…\"\"He had a music guru on this one Wyclef Jean and he killed, This is hit single material not because Wyclef is on it, but because the symphony and musical arrangement are explicit, I daresay. The sound is melodious.
Mmmm, on the track Chargie, for which he has released the visuals for it by the way; This song is not all that. it is a far cry from For Me which can pass a hit. But Chargie is more on a solemn note and not really so great. Although, his beat is good but there just nothing outstanding about this track. Tizzle has released tracks better than this, but I think we can let it slide for For Me.
Hearing Coke Bottle, from the name of the song, one has to ask Tizzle.. what’s up. (lol). Coke Bottle really. Only for us to realize that he is hyping his current love interest. Like is he creative or what!! For his mind to go down to connecting the title of this song to the lyrics of this song, we hilariously applaud him. I must say. That is all I have to say for this track.
Final Thoughts
Even the title of this EP is Where You being, Yes, it has its high points and low points, but we cannot still answer the question of where he has been all this while. If after being lowkey, he comes back with this?, We have no answer, as we cannot even connect the dots here. But as always we applaud the effort and as lovers of Tizzle’s music, we patiently await a big and better EP/album. We are waiting Sean Tizzle!!!\"\"Photo Credit: Getty
