She Didn’t Die Of COVID-19 Complications

The family of veteran actress Rachel Oniga has finally addressed reports making the rounds on social media that the actress died of COVID-19 but said she died of heart complications. 

The family in their press statement said she died in a Lagos hospital at the age of 64, on Friday, 30th of July at about 10pm. The family said contrary to diverse reports informing that she died from COVID0-19 complications, she died from a heart-related issue, an ailment she battled with for a short period before her demise. They asked the public for privacy as they mourn her painful exit and said burial arrangements will be communicated to the public in due time.
