Chukwuemeka Ezeife (Okwadike) the former Anambra state governor meets with Senator Kashim Shettima.
Naija News NG reports that Chukwuemeka Ezeife has been campaigning for a South East President and even declared support for Labour Party’s Peter Obi .
On several occasions, he has defended LP Presidential candidate . Below are two of such occasions.

He said, “I feel very touched. Let me tell you something that will strengthen your belief in Peter Obi. I was the first elected governor of Anambra State, and I am proud. I thought I was a man of integrity, a man of high value. I was proud, but many years after I left office I went to the Enugu Airport during the reign of Peter Obi. I saw Peter Obi carrying his own luggage as governor of Anambra State.
“When I was governor, people carried even my brief case. A governor in Nigeria carrying his own luggage? I had never seen it before, even I had not done it before,” Ezeife said.

When Ebonyi State spoke against Peter Obi’s ambition, Ezeife tackled him .
He said: “We are fighting ourselves in Nigeria. God designed us to lead the blacks and we are about to begin that job.
“Now that change is coming, let us not be clannish about it. I think the time has come for melting. Let Nigeria take the advantage and let Yoruba and Igbo work together.
“I therefore appeal to all Nigerians to pray because sometimes we spoil the good things God has planned for us with our bad mouth.
“We are arrogant to the extreme. A change is coming to Nigeria and let nobody block it through arrogant propaganda.
“We need people who will think away from ethnicity. There is comprehensive corruption everywhere. Now we say we want Igbo president, but no delegate from other states voted for aspirants from South East because of money”.
