Canadian singer, Justin Bieber, has announced that he is diagnosed with a rare nerve disorder called Ramsay Hunt Syndrome.

The disorder which is caused by Chickenpox and Shingles affects the facial nerve near the ear and can paralyse the side affected.

He also pleaded with his fans to send up prayers for recovery. According to the Mayo Clinic, the illness can take weeks for full recovery if the nerves are not severely damaged, if they are, it can take months or never recover.

Justin claimed that the other side of his face is paralysed and he can’t do anything with that part.

He said he has been doing some facial exercises to get better.

He pointed to the side of his face, “As you can see, this eye is not blinkingI can’t smile on this side of my face. This nostril will not move. So there’s full paralysis on this side of my face.

“I gotta go get my rest on so that I can get my face back to where it’s supposed to be. I love you guys, thanks for being patient with me. I’m gonna get better.”
